This is not because Buddhism is Yoga or Yoga is Buddhism. Since ancient times in India, Buddhism has embraced Yoga practice. Therefore, the founder of Gautama{Buddhism} undoubtedly had practiced some Yoga. Since then, Buddhists in China have embraced many types of Yoga and although Buddhism does embrace Yoga, most of the worlds' "Yogi's" are not necessarily Buddhists.
